Trey Canida was born and raised in the small town of Spruce Pine, Alabama in northwest Alabama.  In 2008, he graduated from the University of North Alabama with a degree in English. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Alabama in 2012.


While in law school, he was a member of the Campbell Moot Court Board, and he competed on the Tax Law Moot Court competition team. He was also a senior editor of the Law and Psychology Review.


Shortly after graduating from law school, Trey moved to Baldwin County where he was an assistant district attorney for the Baldwin County District Attorney for three years. While in the DA’s office, Trey prosecuted felony property, persons, and drug crimes as a docket attorney in circuit court, where he successfully tried numerous cases to jury verdict.


Trey joined the law firm of Wilkins, Bankester, Biles and Wynne in July 2016. His practice focuses on general civil litigation, bankruptcy, and criminal defense. He and his wife, Amanda, attend church at Fairhope United Methodist Church.
